What it takes

  • 300g Asda Chosen by you Farfalle (or other pasta)
  • 350g frozen peas
  • 200g Asda Lighter Plain Soft Cheese
  • 75ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 40g Parmesan, grated
  • 300g thick-cut cooked ham, cut into small pieces

How to make it

  1. Add the pasta to a large pan of boiling water, bring back to the boil and cook, uncovered, at a steady gentle boil for 6 minutes.
  2. Add the frozen peas, return to the boil and cook for another 6 minutes or until the pasta is just cooked.
  3. Drain the pasta and peas in a colander. Put the soft cheese, milk and half the Parmesan cheese in the saucepan and stir gently over a low heat until smooth and hot. Add the cooked ham and heat through. Season with black pepper.
  4. Return the pasta and peas to the saucepan. Stir and heat through. Serve immediately with the rest of the grated Parmesan and ground black pepper.
